During March we completed the second phase of expansion at the Seven Acres site which has now doubled the size of our workshops. The increasing demand for our services has made this essential! With a redesigned layout (incorporating a customer lounge and coffee bar!) we are now able to provide our main functions under one roof.

After the successes of the Exige 280S upgrade for the Exige S, Komotec – our German business partners – have gone a step further to create the 300S, adding a further 20bhp and 10 lbft of torque to the equation! The usual refinements have been maintained, giving a drivable and reliable power delivery.

This year we continue our usual sponsorship of the AEMC sprint championship. Sprinting is an excellent way to get into competitive motorsport without expense and stress on the car or driver. It’s also a great social occasion where you’ll meet like-minded individuals and plenty of Lotus owners, all competing for the Hangar 111 Lotus Award (won by Stephen Laing last year in an Exige S1).

In February 2009 we became the 3rd UK dealer and service agent for the incredible KTM X-Bow. This unique piece of engineering has surprised us both on the road and on the track and never fails to impress. Of course, we’ll be applying our usual attention to detail in our sales, service and product line up for this very special track day car.
The KTM X-Bow comes to Hangar 111
The Hangar 111 X-Bow website and blog are currently in development and will be ready very soon. To say we’re excited about it all is an understatement. So does this mean we are no longer in love with Lotus? Not a chance! We will be bringing our very special service to X-Bow owners to allow them the fullest enjoyment of their cars.
Our Clubsport demonstrator arrives this week and will be available for demo from 8th April.
